Peptides & IV Therapy GUIDE
Get Up & Go (Energy) (IV)
Get Up & Go is the clinic’s energy-focused wellness infusion offering. Persistent fatigue can have many causes, so a medical review is an important first step before choosing an infusion.
General patient education. Your clinician’s individual instructions take priority. An online guide cannot determine eligibility or replace an examination.
Before your appointment
- Confirm ingredients, suitability, expected benefit, and price. An infusion cannot guarantee more energy and should not replace care for an underlying condition. Standard IV risks apply.
- Share allergies, medicines, pregnancy/breastfeeding, kidney or heart disease, fluid restrictions and previous infusion reactions. Vitamin C infusions may need additional screening, including for G6PD deficiency.
- Ask for the exact ingredients and evidence for the proposed treatment. Eat and drink normally unless instructed otherwise; do not exceed a prescribed fluid restriction.
What to expect
Discuss symptoms with your provider through an appropriate clinical visit. The team can explain the actual formulation and whether testing or another treatment would be more appropriate.
After your visit
- During an infusion, tell staff immediately about burning, swelling, dizziness, chest discomfort, nausea or breathing changes. Do not tolerate painful infusion symptoms silently.
- Keep the puncture site clean and follow the dressing instructions. Report increasing redness, warmth, swelling or pain. Follow the clinician’s advice on fluids and activity.
Follow-up & what to expect
Before leaving, confirm any follow-up and whether further treatment has a clear clinical reason. Feeling different immediately is not proof that a deficiency was corrected or that an underlying condition has been treated. Do not prebook a series without discussing benefit, risk and alternatives.
Your questions, answered
What if I am constantly exhausted?
Fatigue can relate to sleep, nutrition, medicines or a medical condition. Arrange an assessment; an energy-branded infusion is not a substitute for finding the cause.
How soon will I feel more energetic?
There is no dependable response time or guaranteed boost. Agree on a meaningful reason for treatment and what to do if symptoms continue.
What happens during the visit?
A clinician reviews your health and proposed ingredients before treatment. For an IV, a small catheter is placed in a vein and the team monitors the infusion. Ask how long the full visit takes; formulation and individual tolerance affect timing.
Do I need to fast or drink extra water?
Eat and drink normally unless given different instructions. Do not exceed a prescribed fluid restriction. Tell the clinician if you have not been able to eat or keep fluids down.
Is an IV better than oral hydration?
Not automatically. The reason for treatment, ability to absorb nutrients and medical history matter. Ask whether food, oral fluids or an oral supplement would meet your need.
What symptoms should I report?
Tell staff immediately about burning, swelling, nausea, dizziness, chest discomfort or breathing changes. Afterward, report increasing redness, warmth or pain at the site. Severe symptoms require urgent care.
Planning your visit
What will it cost?
Confirm visit fees and what is included before scheduling. Tests, medication, supplies or additional visits may be separate. Ask about insurance eligibility for medical care; coverage is not guaranteed. A consultation is not advertised as free.
